Original Texas Monthly's 50 Best BBQ Joints 2017 map is hand drawn using pen & ink with acrylic paints on layered board. Illustration dimensions with custom shadow box frame 20.5x24.5 inches, artwork is 16x20 inches.
Chris makes all of his shadow box frames using select pine and stains them dark brown. Artwork is cradled and then mounted onto the shadow box frame.
